More Hoppity

Lower your air guns please. This is Hoppity, the lonesome orphan rabbit deposited as a baby about 2 months ago in the grounds surrounding the Dower House.

His appearance is a matter of some speculation, given there are no rabbits anywhere in the immediate area, and his continuing existence is miraculous given that the ground is not given to be excavated deeper than 4"- a fact I know, having found it almost impossible to plant my illegal daffodils and snow drops in ground mostly bedrock covered with a sprinkling of earth.

Since there is no sandy soil in which to make a burrow, where this rabbit lives remains a mystery, but he or she has the run of the place and we now only see him from time to time when the clover masquerading as lawn entices him to nibble in front of the Dower House.
