Green Tea

Had a lovely day today.
After the terrible wind and rain yesterday was nice to wake up to a bit of blue sky and sunshine, still a little windy but got much warmer as the day went on.

A while back, I had volunteered to help on the Capital Growth Stall at the Green Fair in Regent's Park, but by the time I got my work rota, they had all the help they needed.
Went to the fair around lunchtime anyway, lots of wonderful stalls with so many things to buy!
Came home with Spinach, Pak Choi and Thai Basil, Moroccan mud (which will apparently detoxify me when used instead of soap and shampoo), 100% natural mosquito repelling spray, soap and deodorant as well as lots of reading material to improve my environmental awareness.
Pity I do not have a garden as they were giving away free trees to offset the carbon footprint of the event even tho (according to the website) it was powered by recycled vegetable oil...

Anyway, from there I went to the British Biscuit Festival in the Brunswick Centre where there were Tea Dances, a Build-a-Biscuit Workshop and a lovely little vintage area where you could sit down and relax with a good cuppa and biscuit with a wonderful lady, Dai Gestive.
