At Home

John and Jennie came around today. We had lunch outside and then spent a very pleasant afternoon on the patio.  The weather was summer-like, so nice to spend time outside.

This little bird went flying into the open french  window and fell stunned.  Jennie gently picked him up and put him safely under a bush.  Later I went to check on him and he had recovered and flew off shortly after I'd taken this picture.

The 'extra' picture is just a reminder that I need a haircut!
