Endless distractions
I love books and book shops. I only went in for my book club book (the middle one) but decided to make a start on my holiday reading collection. We have a very lovely branch of Waterstones on our high road and I go in as often as I dare as I would hate to see it close. And worse than seeing it close would be added guilt of not having used it. So I do and sometimes I feel like I am single handedly keeping it going so today's purchasing was relatively constrained.
I'm not writing about J's appointment as we are scared to hope too much. Though of course we still are. Whilst still trying not to.
So instead I shall write about the joys of being close enough to friends to drop in and wish their kid a happy birthday, Anna and her endless joy, the excellence of having a dog who can do "paws" and the amusement of coming across Dubsmash. Though I have practically had to sign in blood that I won't post anything on the Internet. And my lovely, lovely husband who again took J to the docs as I had client work booked and who dealt with everything so very well. I'm so grateful not to be doing this on my own.
And the sun shone and I got to pick Anna and Cameron up from dance class and play singing games in the car. It's not all bad at all and for the bad bits there are good books.
