Valletta

Malta Day 4

Totally blown away by Valletta, Malta's capital. It's like stepping back in time, with narrow streets that if they were canals, it might be Venice.

British influences are everywhere, but it's not ostentatious. There are red phone boxes and memories of World War 2, but no beer belly bars!

We weren't there for long but made a vow to come back later in the holiday to explore more.

Here Catherine reads up on a guidebook while I buzz about with my camera :o)

We ate in the hotel that night as it was Maltese night. The national dish is rabbit...

...but I just couldn't!!!
