Life's a Beach

Malta Day 3


The beach was a bit of a trek from the hotel especially in 30 something degree heat, so we took the bus instead. The beach was good - stayed shallow for ages and was a deep blue. Plenty of room and a good way to snooze away a few hours in the sunshine. Doesn't take much convincing :o)

Meal was at Bouquet Garni - a restaurant you normally have to book ahead but we got lucky and had a gorgeous meal. Fresh mussels to start and we shared a red snapper. It was one of those restaurants where they bring you a plate of the catch of the day and you pick your fish - awesome!
