Let's hang the laundry out...

After a grey and wet start of the morning, we could suddenly welcome a clearing of the sky. The sun returned. For the first time you could feel some warmth during these polar wintery summerdays. I went to the basement where the laundry was hanging to dry in vain. Another washing&drying turn in the waiting line. What a relief seeing the moist shirts now finally drying up. Then I went back upstairs to prepaire lunch. So comfy sitting in the warming sunlight…

Soon followed by big shadowy clouds. And then, from behind our Gardian Oak in our back, Jeeh, a shower! Good Heavens...and I rushed downstairs again to drag the drying racks safely under the balcony. The shirts being more wet than they were a quarter of an hour ago. Inevitable everyday impossibilities - trying in vain to save a penny by not using the dryer - complaining in vain about not having learned from my parental household culture to search for some lighthearted, casual solution. Not a big deal after all…

Or deal with the absence of practical alternatives and leave the whole process more time to finish. Or listen to that soft kind voice you heard during the meditation course: "...just relax and remind that we are not going to get anywhere now...
". Follow the movement of your breathing out.

Yes. Mind your breathing out&in again. Looking outside with a big smile, hearing that voice in some very near past: “Let’s hang the laundry outside…”
