What a rainy, dreich day in Orkney, which started in the most beautiful way with child's laughter and watching Frozen in bed, a scrumptious breakfast, a trip to visit Miss K & PW and a long evening walk. As ever our timing was impeccable and we only got a bit wet on the way home. Now it's bed, chocolate and Hannibal - I sometimes feel like I need to pinch myself.. I am one lucky girl!
This Oystercatcher must have had a nest somewhere close by as he was coming very close and trying to distract us. I took a shot as he ran past and left him be.
