A Rare Day Off

We were very lucky to have an inset day today, the only one of the year that we don't have to come in! I was still up at 7am, but it felt so much more restful!

I had a nice bath and hairwash, pottered around doing laundry and chores, and then went to mum's to have my hair done. Ro had hers done too, and it was just a nice, relaxed, pampery kind of day.

Afterwards Ro took Little B to get his long awaited hair cut, and I went to Guildford to pick up my blanket box from the furniture store. Unfortunately I hit rush hour, and it took me an hour to get home.

I did manage to write quite a few reports today ( the whole reason for being home) , and then had a nice chilled evening.

No chance of a lie in tomorrow as I've got to be in London by 10:30 :-)
