Loviisa

Today we drove to my parents "vacation house / summer cottage" to Loviisa. It's about 100 km to east from Helsinki. We walked around and ate at a restaurant in the harbor. So our dogs had a pretty exciting day.

Right next to my parents flat there's a social club restaurant which has been owned by my dad's godmother. Those kind of establishments were very prestigious back then in the 50's. It's the only wooden one that has survived fires. Today it's a library.

Loviisa is situated by the sea. Here is the Loviisa Bay.
We walked by the cemetery. 
And the gothic church.

My husband had his bike so he's cycling back home. He sent me a sms half way hinting that cold beer in the fridge would be nice once he's home. It will take him about 4+ hours to get home if everything goes well. Then we can go out with the dogs :-)
