Shopping

I haven't done much at all today except for...

- Going for a thyroid ultrasound on the other side of town
- Stopping at Hyper Panda (again) to pick up a few things (!)
- Carrying all the shopping up to the flat in one trip (it was heavy)
- Having lunch
- A siesta (it is the weekend after all)
- Taking advantage of an Amazon home & garden deal
- Ironing (!!!)
- Listening to Graham Kendrick's Is Anyone Thirsty? album after AGES
- Having dinner
- Helping G first find and then update her CV (finding it involved looking through several USBs and an external HDD!)
- Post this blip after having a big think about it, but it is literally the only picture I have taken today and not even with a proper camera...

Sorry I haven't got to any journals today... hope to catch up tomorrow!

... And in my extra, I have put a picture of the new stereo! The green one is insitu at the moment, but it will be replaced by a black one when it arrives in the showroom. :D  It's nice no? (As they say in this part of the world)

PS. Update on Gs car after the saga on Wednesday morning... it needs a new gearbox! No chance of repairing at all. At a cost of £5,000+ it's a no-brainer that a new car has to be considered. [Not a brand [b]new[/b] car, but a new second-hand one!] Such a bummer as it has only just been registered for another year. ;(
