One species each day (from my backyard)
It was Saturday, so there was time to take a picture with daylight. Walking up the garden steps, wondering what to photograph today, I caught these yellow flowers from the right corner of my right eye and decided to give them a try. Although it was quite calm, it was dull and about to rain (I felt a few drops), and I found it difficult to get a real sharp shot so I used the flash again. I suppose I could have used the tripod, but it wasn't easy to set it up right there, plus there wasn't much time with the impeding rain. This is Euryops pectinatus, another South African native, growing next to the sleep-out (thirteen petals, like the Aster from a few days ago...).
