Getting a last bite before the storm

Not just the cardinals but also the chickadees were getting a last bite before the severe thunder and lightning storms moved in.  

When today's evening storms came the rain was torrential to the point that looking out the front window, you couldn't see anything!

Today I went to a lunch meeting sponsored by one of the drug companies that supply an MS modifying drug.  These meetings are primarily to promote the use of their drug but they are a great way to help stay on top of the latest news, share tips with other MSers and of course a great excuse to get out!   It's been great in that I have seen one MSer at 2 of these meetings now and have gotten her to commit to come to next month's support group meeting.  At today's meeting was a newly diagnosed MSer that was at our support group last week and so I was glad to be there to sit with her and get to know her even more.
