Grey day I

This has to be the worst summer I can remember.We joke that "summer was last week", but this year it seems true. The warmth brought things on, but now they're stuck in suspended animation. I just know that the 3-4 embryo courgettes are just going to rot before they get any bigger.

One positive thought is that tomorrow Miss K has a drum exam near the Botanical Gardens, so we might get to see the titan arum. For lovers of gross plants, it's a must!
