These little Oyster catchers were spreading their wings today for a flap. Maybe it won't be long before they are off.

I watched the adult digging up more shellfish today and helping her young eat them. She takes the shell off for them and breaks it up a bit.

 Had my car checked out by another garage who confirmed it was not worth repairing. Spent part of the day on the phone to some scrappies

A cold wet miserable day and we are in at the fire.
