Leaky bath

We've had a small hole in our bathtub since we moved in. At first I thought it was just a dirty mark but it's gradually got bigger. Last year I reported it and they came and "fixed" it.....ha ha! They just squirted some mastik in the hole....it lasted one day! So together with all the other maintenance jobs that had arisen I finally gave a list to the compound maintenance guys a couple of weeks ago. The loo cistern had a crack and was leaking over the floor as well and the final thing that made me "get round to" reporting it all, was that the microwave stopped working. How to survive without this essential!!! Anyway that was fixed quickly and the othet small things on the list and now thus week its been the bigger jobs. Workmen have been in all week removing the skirting boards and replacing the wood with ceramic as the wood had been eaten away. So tge house has been completely topsy turvy and I've spent my days working at the kitchen table. Now today they've started on thd bath. That was removed tjus morning and I had a peak earlier and it seemed like they were drilling into the concrete floor. All tge lovely tiles on the side of the bagh had gone and as they'd gone for lunch (or maybe a rest as Ramadan started today) I thought I'd sneak a snap of the mayhem. I suspect it won't be finished until after the weekend. Now I know why I had put off getting the work done, but I am looking forward to having a long bath without water all ovet the floor!
