Top Dog / well Bird!

These guys may look as though they are at ground level almost, but they are actually on the top most dead branch at the top of a huge tree - probably the highest along the river. Heaps of them there most afternoons now, preening each other and making a huge racket. Gorgeous birds. The extra shot is taken from close to where the birds are settling in for the night - lovely afternoon light on the river.
