Wild Orchid

Another walking day; this time with my Third Wednesday girls.   We took the train into Glasgow and then the bus to Killearn, and after coffee and scone, we walked eight miles to Strathblane.  We thought we were going to get wet, but it stayed dry all day, with some sunshine and some dark patches.  Passed a patch of wild orchids, the first I have seen this year.

Came home and had dinner, and then got a lovely surprise as our grandson came round to show us his new car..... his very first.  He is very pleased with himself, and I have shown him and the car in my extra photo.
