spending money...

...is so easy at the Emma Bridgewater factory shop!

This shop is 10 minutes from my house and I have NEVER visited it before...and now I know why.

My friend came to visit today...we had planned a day at the monkey forest but then it rained..and rained...and rained some more.

So we have shopped...and shopped...and shopped instead.

Not so good on the bank balance but we had a lovely day.

Lunch was at Pieminister..and I am still full to the brim...the mushroom & asparagus pie was scrumptious.

I have very sleepy eyes and a ridiculously early start at work tomorrow so I think I need an early night..especially as tomorrow night is a rare night out..I am going to the evening reception of a civil partnership...and I'm very excited...I just know I'm going to have a ball...and dance my little socks off once the cheesy 80's music comes on :)
