Lets Bolt!
We have spent a lovely few hours at Charlecote Park today, although I am considering making a complaint! (The tour guide put the animals at risk and Us - but more worried about the deer) I / we were keeping a very good respectful distance from the Deer (big lenses are handing for wildlife!), and trying to keep low, when the ‘tour guide’ with a huge noisy crowd disturbed the Deer. The nose from this man was ridiculous he was waving his arms about and talking very loudly about ‘the best bit of the tour’ and his followers then scattered out to get close which made five or so of the Deer bolt away heading right into my path – by gosh I/we moved pretty quickly, thankfully they didn’t run / leap to where we were but they were certainly too close for my comfort and it sure as hell scared the life out of me! The guide then went on to shout ‘aren’t they marvellous when the leap’. I’m quite surprised he didn’t think of other people before he approached the young group. Anyway, other than that we had a nice afternoon and I have a few pics that I will be putting into my Flickr account later. Time now though for dinner prep and maybe a sneaky glass of wine!
P.S Extra photos attached :)
