After the rain

Very wet day yesterday and cloudy this morning with drizzle and I rather liked these irises with raindrops on the petals.
Friend coming out for a walk this afternoon as  my toe feels a little better and the 'Race for Life' is 2 weeks today.  8 of us have already decided where we will go to eat after the race - have to get your priorities right!
Hope my foot isn't too sore by the end of today.
Dead baby fox on the pavement when I went to the paper shop this morning.  Have to admit that the thought crossed my mind that it could be a 'blip'!
