Short lived . . . .

Found this poor little skeleton in the border while I was weeding.  Find the tiny foot particularly moving . . . although moving is the last thing it will be doing!  For reference he is about 2" (5cm) in length and photographed on a post it note!

He's now at rest on the shelf with the other bird skulls and interesting bits of bone . . . !
