Into the night at Le Mans

It has been a long hot day at the Sarthe circuit. The 83rd Le Mans 24 hours race started at 3 pm French time. We watched the start from where the cars plunge downhill under the famous Dunlop bridge as they begin their first lap.

Now dusk is closing in, and the race is a background aural wallpaper to our evening barbecues in the campsite. Well, it's going to be a long night, and motor racing fans have to eat!
