Circuit de la Sarthe

The excitement is building. It has been a roller-coaster of camaraderie and weather since we arrived in Le Mans. It's been fun catching up with friends from around the country who make the trek here each year to camp and enjoy the world's greatest motor race (well we think it is, anyway!)

We have had sunshine, showers, thunder and lightning. Last night a massive thunder storm deluged the Maison Blanche campsite with rain, so heavy that the roads through the site looked like rivers. But the soil is sandy and by morning it had all drained away.

Tomorrow is the big day. The race starts at 3 pm French time, and twice around the clock later, there will be a winner.
