Pick of the crop

Our first homegrown strawberry....yippee!

Since there's only this one ripe (for now), we had to share so I used it as a garnish on the rhubarb fool I'd made for dessert.

Main was lamb kofta kebabs with a yoghurt & mint raita (both made by me and using mint from the herb garden), with couscous and roasted vegetables. Dieting shouldn't taste this good; I love slimming world!

We'd said we would have a lazy day today, as we are up early tomorrow to go to Download festival, but that didn't quite go to plan.

Mr A decided to tackle the toilet and found that a few parts were missing. Off to B&Q again!!!! They gave us another cistern and Mr A checked all the parts were there.
That amounts to £400 worth of toilet wasted by B&Q now, as they can't resell the one we returned or the one we scavenged today.
If only they made things right in the first place eh?
