Roadside Wild Flowers

I was driving along the lanes around the Cockburnsparth area when I was struck by the abundance of colourful wild flowers on the road verges. I stopped to take a few pictures and then turned round to drive in the opposite way along the lane, only to find that a tractor with an overhanging verge cutter was decimating the colourful verge I had taken a moment before. A bit further along at a road junction I came across this bank of wildflowers and decided that this needed to be my blip for today before nature, the weather or man-made intervention obliterated this riot of colour.
