Rippling lights

Had a slacker of a day today.

On Wednesday evening I had a phone call from the local paper telling me I'd won this months gardening photo competition. Woo-hoo! Cool prize of some printing too which means I should be able to have some canvas prints of my favourite pictures done :) This was the pic that did it for me....

They say things happen in 3's so maybe I shouldn't have been surprised when I checked blip and email this morning (after having spent 2 hours lying in bed reading!) and found firstly a very humbling comment from a fellow blipper then secondly an email from a UK Phot Mag asking for permission to use one of my pics in a mag article :) Warm fuzzies for breakfast!!

Today's blip was meant to be a moon shot but once again the clouds conspired against me.
