Hobby

We spent the day at Minsmere, and were lucky enough to be in the Bittern Hide when this hobby put on a fantastic display, he was swooping down and catching dragonflies with his feet, eating them on the wing and then throwing away the indigestible wings.  Not a great photo but he was SO fast, twisting and turning all the time...quite difficult to follow with the camera. We also saw a very brief glimpse of a bittern, We've heard them booming in the past but this was the first sighting for both of us.
