Cordes sur Ceil

Turns out that this "Grand Sites de Midi Pyrenees" is just 15 minutes away from our campsite.  We had visited Cordes before, on a cold, grey winter day, but glad that we went back today when it was hot and sunny.  It is a superb 12th to 15th century small Templar town, perched high on a hilltop.  We took the tourist  "petit train" up the hill, drifted through the pretty streets, browsed in the shops and ran  to catch the little train back down the hill again.  We had eaten lunch, salade des gesiers and confit de canard, at the little campsite restaurant, so we made do this evening with snacks and lots of pink wine!
