Honister VF

A great days fun at Honister with Fairweathergirl - certainly no fear of heights any more!
We paused for a while and watched these brave little lads make there way across the 'little' bridge - afterwards we both agreed the little one was far worse than the big one.
The Via Ferrata takes you through some spectacular ground - but the true wonder is just how beautiful the man made mess of a quarry can become once nature takes hold - we saw orchids, birds eye primrose, wild primrose, violets, butterworts, anemones and many many more - that is - when we were prepared to look down.
