Having dinner

I think this is a common darter but I'm not really sure.  It was finishing off a lacewing for tea. I spotted him flying into a tree with his catch.

I had a cycle around the Almscliff roads and very nice it was too, followed by a walk around the lanes with Little Dog.

In the evening, we had a lovely meet up with one of Rich's friends from his old work and his wife, for a pub dinner in the village.
