The Arklow Rambler in Leith Docks
Trying to work at home this afternoon, although this is proving a little difficult as a man has just come round to put up our new glass shelves in the kitchen. My new phone has also turned up and I'm trying not to let that distract me, although it appears to be the old phone, just new. That's good. I'll sort it out tonight.
Meanwhile, I'm multi-tasking - sending emails, reviewing and editing draft papers, and also writing a short blast of my own on how the Euro crisis is pushing citizenship to its limits. And beyond.
I didn't realise until today that you could actually go behind the casino in the Leith docks area and get right onto the waterfront. Great for photography. Another man was there taking photographs. I wondered if he was a blipper. He asked me if I was taking photographs "to put on the website". I realised that there was only one possible website for him, and apparently it's one for ship geeks. Anyway, I told him I was a blipper, and he hadn't heard of blipfoto. As if. Someone in Edinburgh hasn't yet heard of blipfoto. Clearly the PR machine needs to roll into action.
