Bernese Oberland

With temperatures over 30°C it was way too hot for all of us down at the lake, so we seeked higher lands - the Bernese Oberland. It was some degrees colder there and much more comfortable, also there was plenty of snow for Djeili to sledge down and have lots of proper cold rolling around in! She kept the marmots busy who were calling out lots of warnings. See the Eiger in her background? 

Later on back at the lake we were hiding away in the car from an impressive thunderstorm. Actually, it was very cozy, Djeili cuddled into me for protection, the wind with heavy rain blowing in over a torquoise lake, thunder booming from the sides of the surrounding mountains and lightning flashing around us.
