Evening light

I was never so happy to be working from home like today: The little fledgelings from the nest in our house gable jumped out today, first to the below balcony, where we stared at each other for a bit, then one by one, they jumped into the air and flew away! 

Their parents had a very stressful time when they realised they were gone and tried to locate them. All potential fiends were attacked by those tiny but very brave birds. It was good luck that Djeili never realised that she was fiercely fly-divingly attacked, too ;) 

One of the little ones turned up on our rooftop terrace later. I wonder how it feels like for them having had no sight of the world in their nest till now and so suddenly popping into something with loads of stuff in it! 
Hope none of the many cats around get them.
