Turning the clock back

Another delightful afternoon spent at Fife Vintage Agricultural Club's Annual Rally this year with grain harvest being the theme. As with my blip of 8th June last year the weather was kind and I was drawn to the age of the farm horse. Here the horse stood patiently while the sheaves were being forked into the steam driven threshing mill.
There was a wonderful turnout of the old tractors , some lovely old machinery like the horse drawn binder and also a few examples of modern machinery to show the public how farming has changed over the last century or more. (see extra photos)
