Looking up
I was in town today visiting an exhibition at Moat Brae, which is the house in Dumfries which inspired J.M. Barrie when he came to write Peter Pan. The exhibition was interesting but it was also a good chance to see the interior of the house while they are working on the renovation, and before it is all tidied up. Moat Brae was very nearly bulldozed but was saved by dint of a last minute intervention by the Moat Brae Trust, whose chairwoman is Joanna Lumley. The plan is to turn it in to a children's literature centre.
