Clean Cherub

Usual Tuesday night at Jeans, only at a different venue. Tonight we were at Faith's house as Jean was babysitting. Faith and Kev were through in Glasgow seeing John Barrowman this evening. This fact is important for later on .....

Got to Faith's house to find R busy making soap, whilst E was designing a pop band. It was so lovely to see that (a) girls were still doing exactly the same type of activities now that I had done when I was little (I recall making paperweights from a kit and also spending an evening writing a long list of potential names for a band that I was going to start with my cousins) and (b) that not all youngsters spend their evenings playing computer games of watching TV. This photo shows one of the soaps that R made - she gave me this one to take home.

Funniest thing of the night though was when the phone rang. Jean answered it and it was her husband. This was what she said:

"No, it's not Drew Barrymore she's gone to see. It's Michael Barrymore" ......
