Blipmeet in Staithes

It was a glorious day--wind, sunshine, cameras, conversation, tea, scones, and I even found an ammonite on the beach. Marjorie was there with Folkie, Spokes, and Sue, and then these two, 8 and PaulaJ, laughing into the clouds. See WalkingMarj 's journal for a group shot, but that wasn't all because Spotsoftime came in from Cumbria after Marj and PaulaJ had left. My love and thanks to all, including WhiskeyFoxtrot, CarolineJay, Veronica, Gordon, and Dotty at the tea shop, who survived us crowding in, bumping other customers, and (me) spilling Folkie's peppermint tea all over the floor. But oh what a time we had! As the tide came in on a west wind, sand whipped our eyes and forced us to cover our lenses, but we all walked away holding onto each other's energies. Online conversations are good, but despite my shyness, I love the multi-dimensionality of hearing each other's voices and feeling each other's hugs.
