Ahead of the storm

As we left Porto yesterday, our Captain said that, as weather conditions were deteriorating, he would go full steam ahead as soon as he was out of the harbour.

He's done that and we are still ahead of the storm as we round Cape Finisterre and into the Bay of Biscay.

It's rocking a bit (I had a great night's sleep - amazing as I'm an insomniac). It's sunny, breezy and beautiful, but too hazardous to steam round the deck or retreat to the gym.

This is a wonderful cruise. At some point, when I have a better and cheaper wifi connection, I'll share some views on my favourite ships and why.
