Sunshine and showers!

Very much a stay at home day for most people! It was SO hot and humid - even the first couple of extreme thunderstorms didn't clear the air. In spite of it I went out to buy a humming bird feeder in the hope of getting a few shots in my sister's garden. I got absolutely soaked!

Eventually it cooled down and the sun came out - as did this very curious male red cardinal.

What beautiful birds.
