New Victoria and Albert Museum foundations
A dull, grey, overcast day.
I took Eleanor to the Bus Station as she is going up to the Atholl Centre in Pitlochry for a couple of days. I will join her tomorrow, when there will be the Opening of a new Phase.
I then went to the Pedestrian walkway on the Road Bridge to take this image of the foundations being laid for the new V&A Museum on the waterfront. It has been designed to project into the river like the prow of a ship. It is an exciting Project but will be a couple of years before it is finished. In the background of the photo you can see the RSS Discovery, looking rather overpowered by all that is going on. If you would like to see a visualisation of what the area will look like when it is finished then have a look here.
This afternoon I am looking forward to watching the men's Semi Finals from Paris, including Andy Murray V Novak Djokovic - should be a cracker.
