D-Day (Dress Day)

Graduation for Kate is tomorrow, so, after the debacle that was Prom Night, I decided to alter her dress well ahead of time for this event, ie 6pm the night before.

Simple adjustment this time as the straps just needed shortening. Of course having done that, we just now discovered that the dress only just skims her bottom.

Luckily she will be wearing her graduation gown over it. Did I mention that the girls gowns are a hideous silver that looks like silver foil, and that they are made out of cheap and nasty nylon fabric that can't be ironed or it will shrivel up.....? Or that they are incredibly creased?
