Mum In A Million

The rose is aptly named a Mum-in-a-Million and that’s reflected in the delicate bloom it has delivered.
It was a gift for my wife on Mother ‘s Day carefully and thoughtfully chosen by son and daughter in law.
And now that the rosebud has burst forth, we can marvel at just how appropriate it is.  Certainly the most delicate flower in our garden just now, and putting the rapidly growing grass which we mentioned yesterday in the shade. Even other rose bushes we have had for some years look tired compared with this.

It’s magnificent!
