Why isn't it the weekend yet?

This week seems to have gone incredibly quickly, and yet I'm still stunned that we've another day to go before the weekend. 

It's been a really busy week at work, so the days have been flying by at a break-neck pace. Which is good, I suppose, but my to-do list doesn't seem to be getting any shorter. 

On the plus side, I managed to get out for a walk again this morning before work, although the weather was a bit grey and grim. Also, it appears that the new route I've been doing lately is just a bit too long for our elderly dog. At the start of the walk, she bounces like a puppy and pulls like mad on her lead (she's incredibly badly-trained). By the end, I basically have to pull her up the hills and drag her along on the flat. I might have to leave her at home if I'm planning to do the longer route. Still, at least I'll have the younger, insane dog for company...
