Summer?

Last night's BMC BBQ was well attended - but as the sun dropped behind Great Gable it got very cold and we soon headed inside - however it was warm right from the start today - pooch got walked in a t-shirt at 8:00am - could this be summer? 
With the fields looking like this it certainly feels like it could be.

Typing this this afternoon the thermometer is north of 20degC and I've finally turned the meadows back into something resembling lawns. There might just be more wildlife habitat than there used to be. I'm quite taken with Jerra of this parishes term "reserve management".
