Isn't she cute....

I visited a friend this morning whose Labrador had nine puppies! They have three Labradors and their youngest male was yet to have the snip as he was just over a year old himself, and well...he got busy I guess. It was so cute to see dad come check on the puppies from time to time - see extra photo. They are adorable puppies but quite hard work to keep feeding. Mum looks exhausted, but that's not new for mums, is it?

Lovely sunshine today and tomorrow is meant to be even better. I am going to visit Hever Castle tomorrow and to see the lovely gardens so the sunshine will be very welcome.

As you know, Luke is working at the restaurants at a rather posh and exclusive tennis and social club - members only allowed. Last night, or rather in the early hours of this morning, after they locked up and he was about to leave, they found a very drunk woman lying outside on the way to the car park. This was the same woman who earlier had been a very rude and difficult customer, who had left the club about an hour earlier, but quite clearly had not made it home. They went back inside and phoned for a taxi to take her home and then waited for the taxi to come collect her. This is not the first time Luke has had to deal with very drunk 'middle aged' people, as he calls them (think she was mid thirties!) At least this job is giving Luke a dislike of drinking excessively.
