Goodbye summer

I regard 1st June as the official start of summer - I know some people wait for the summer solstice but that is too late I think. So after the cold day yesterday and the wet and cool morning, I really thought it was hello and a very sudden goodbye to summer today. However, the sun has come out now and it has warmed up and I believe we are in for warmer weather by the end of the week.

I have decided to try and get my LRPS ((Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society). I know many blippers already have this and even the next level of distinction, so they will know what I mean when I say it has taken ages to choose which images to submit. I spent most of last week working on the images and am very grateful for the advice I got from VivC (ARPS). I finally sent the images off to the printers yesterday as I have an advisory day in July and then have time to finalise my panel before the assessment in October. About 20%-25% do not pass first time round so I have no unrealistic expectations.
