Nothing Supernatural Here

Dad bought three of these clocks for a tenner somewhere years ago. He was delighted with them and told me proudly how you never had to remember to put the clocks forward (or back) at the beginning or end of British Summer Time.

Mom woke me up really early waving this clock at me. Apparently, it had started bleeping in the early hours and wouldn't shut up. I just took the battery out and handed it back.

'Your dad was trying to tell us something!' she said.
'Yes. He said we need a new battery,' was my bleary eyed response.

I put a new battery in a little while later and watched with mild fascination as the digits started whizzing past until they stopped at the correct time.

Nothing supernatural here, apart from the music of course!
