Went to the mailbox in a shower of rain, he got caught in a torrent which went over his gumboots and swore (unprintable!) he'd never try that again!
Pretty sure we'll make the national news tonight with widespread flooding in Dunedin and surrounding districts. Five inches for us in about 12 hours!
