NZ Waxeye or Silvereye

The garden has been experiencing a bird feeding frenzy, Tui ,Bellbird , Waxeye all enjoying the abundance of berries and blossom ( yes blossom, my Prunus Southern Gem produce blossom 3 times a year). This little Waxeye was waiting for me to put out the apple halves which they also devour, leaving only a paper thin skin and the core.
